Alyssa received her Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2012. After practicing in general dentistry, she continued her training and completed a three-year Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) residency program in 2017 at UQ, majoring in Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology (DMFR).
Alyssa is board certified by the Dental Board of Australia and holds membership with organisations including the Australian Dental Association, Australian Academy of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is a Lecturer in Dental Radiology at UQ, School of Dentistry contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with a strong focus on training DMFR registrars. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Clinical Oral Implant Research journal.
